Finding a niche, and how to do keyword research?

I'm having trouble finding a niche for blogging. How do you guys find good niches? Finding a good niche with keywords and high bids on Adsense/other programs is something I can't seem to find, something that I could (auto?)blog about.

Also, how do you do keyword research? I'm fairly clueless here.

The best niche is a topic you are interested in. Good blogs are updated regularly with good content and that is very hard to do if the basic topic doesn't interest you.

Finding high paying niche will also be a challenge for you to rank for keywords.

Theres thousands of less obvious niches, so easy to rank for, look into them, endless niches, look in less obvious places.
