Finding a lot of directories

I'm trying to submit my site to directory..

I used this phrase "directory submit.php" at google.com

it does show up to 1000 directories, but it wouldn't show any more than that.. how can I get more list of directories?

i'm doing it manually

try searching in yahoo and msn! also try some directory list that will help! and you want free directory list or paid, may be we can help you find a good list!

 

Check this thread for 6000 directories. Might be helpful for you, and I think most of them are free.
