ok so im looking for niches, I find keyword phrases that have say 900 searches per month on overture, then when I check the competetion in google by typing my phrase like this: "how to farm" it shows say 5000 competetiors. Now is this worth chasing? My plan is to target many low searched niches, but im saying how hard is it to rank on googles first page with say goarticles.com for a term like this? Is it possible to find something with say 5000 searches per month with only 1000 competetiors? It seems though if I target even phrases with 300 searches per month and say 1000-3000 competetiors that after a while even if I make one sale it will all start adding up with hundreds of adds out there. Am I right on this? If anyone could help I would be thankful, thanks
Everyone looks for some keywords with little competition. It works but you have to find some decent ones and get ranked well.
Yes its possible and quite easy, what is comes down to is how well you can convert it to profit. Also Overture is very inaccurate, the term "SEO Company" for example states 18k per month by memory. Im generally between No2 and No5 and get about 50-60 a week. So not worth ranking for. Yet other longer tail phrases Overture says 100 searches a month, im getting 150 a day in the same top 5 positions.
