    Hi guys,

I'm starting this thread so that the experienced IMs can share their views on factors to consider before committing time, effort & money (likely monthly subscriptions) to a program.

There is a plethora of IM programs out there, with most aiming to make money off you.

To start the ball rolling, I'll just share my 2 cents. I'm a nobody and just want to learn from the rest.

    In my humble opinion:
    1. Promoting the program itself should not be the best/only way to earn. You should be able to leverage on the system within the program to learn and promote your other businesses.
    2. Genuine Community of support.
    3. Weekly/Monthly training webinars or materials to update and equip the affiliates.
    4. Providing resources (e.g. Sales Funnel) to help the newbies get started.

IMO a good program consists of:
    Up to date methods
A community with like minded people that have the same goal.
    One on one support
Video training instead of text based. Some people learn better by "seeing" things rather than text based.
Tools that with help you (keyword tool ect)

I think it is rare that you find a truly good IM program, I think this is mostly due to the fact that with IM you can lie about your product easily by adding a few fake testomonials and reviews to make the product seem too good to be true (which it most often is with titles such as "make $500 in under 2 hours!!!!").

But of course this doesn't mean there aren't any good ones out there, I probably just haven't been looking at the right ones or clicking on the products for the wrong reasons!

That's so true. I mean if you're in this business for some time, you will know that it is hard to earn $500 under 2 hours when you first started out, or even consistently. However i'm not saying that it's impossible.

I just heard from a friend of mine that he spent over $2000 on a CPA seminar, and was told to pay another $2-3k for an advanced course in order to set up a system. The initial seminar requires you to sign up for a list of programs, where the trainer himself is an affiliate of.

Amazing. He probably earned 300x his rental of the venue by making his students sign up for hosting and others.
