Find the initial referer from another page

    Hello there,

    I'm looking to find referers to a page where I can't install scripts and that I do not own.
    I could put a link or image on that page that loads up my own page and then tracks the referrer,
    but then I would just know that the referrer comes from the page where I placed a link to my page.
    Instead how can I find out the initial referer that goes to that page ? so that on my end I see the referrer before the page that I have my link on.

    Nope, as far as I know. No way to do that. If you want to find referrers of that site, you can use tools such as Alexa, Social Monkey..., but that is far as you can go.
