Find out who clicked on 'your ads' and How?

I've read an article somewhere that tells us to beware of getting banned but I think it's really odd to the publishers like us because we have no tool to track how many times that IP has clicked. The article said, if 1 IP clicked on your ads more than 5times per week, your chance will be banned and I still wonder why? I just have launched a video site for almost 2weeks and get pretty much clicking. So what's your advice/suggestion for this issue?

I use AdSense Tracker.

In the last 7 days, I have seen many IP's click more than 5 ads, including:

10.208.55.97 34
10.226.178.127 25
10.53.3.4 12
10.40.119.87 12
10.14.10.22 11
10.179.73.21 11
10.56.89.131 11
10.6.137.23 11
10.148.97.69 10

Note: IP addresses changed to protect the ... uhhh... whatever.

 

so in general, is there any way to prevent malicious users from launching click bomb attacks? Or will google be understanding towards victims of click bomb attacks?

 

There is no method I know of which prevents this.

Theoretically, you could use something like AdSense Tracker and then ban (or null route...) the visitors who are clicking too many ads.

 

I waste daily 1 Hour in Tracking the Clicks i get through addfreestats,

2 days Back saw some Clicks from same IP daily, reported to G, and Cleared my doubt.They replied that there's no problem.

 

What I feel is that google should ignore quick successive clicks per unique viewer (i.e. count 1 click only, or even ignore all the clicks entirely from this user), rather than suspecting the webmaster of fraudulent activities. This will save A LOT of trouble on both ends.

 

They might do both.

The might ignore the clicks and suspect the webmaster.

Whatever they do, they don't tell.
