Find out what items sold from new eBay reports?

Do we need another tool like mycjreport.com to analyze the new eBay Partner Network reports?

That would be great, as long as you continue to provide assurance that you are not storing sensitive data (niche performances, etc.) for your own use. That assurance was critical to my willingness to use the existing tool. I suppose, there will be some coming out with desktop tools (at a cost) where that isn't an issue. That said, I think it would be a terrific service. As it stands now, we're back to the cumbersome process of retrieving the info from the spreadsheet and then performing the necessary searches.

You know I was wondering about that too, I assumed they would invalidate your tool by just having better reporting, but it's actually harder to get to transaction data in the new interface. I am just building my own web tool, but I am sure lots of people would appreciate something like mycjreport.com

    Drum roll please....

    Announcing myepnreport.com.

It's basically the same as mycjreport.com, but it works with the new EPN reports. You feed it a report, and it will tell you all the items that you've sold via your EPN links. I've only just put this site together today, and haven't been able to test it using many different reports ... so there will be bugs! If you find one, please either post it in this thread, or let me know via PM (if it's really serious!).

On the other hand, if it works flawlessly  then please let me know! :p

I guess there may be some bugs. The numbers I'm seeing include eBay fees that equal or exceed the sale price of the item, and the commissions shown exceed what is being reported on EPN by a considerable margin. Of course, it could show that EPN's reporting is haywire. Wouldn't that be something?

Thanks potentmix, I was pretty sure there would be some problems  :)

I've fixed the problems for now, but it's meant removing some of the information (commission, commission total etc...). I'll be tweaking the site over the next couple of weeks to add more features.

If you prefer a script that you can download and run on your own server, I have one available for free:

Sonjay, if I have multiple sites, would I have to run your tool separately for each site, or will it combine all EPN reports of winning bids?

If you download your ePN report for all sites, then it'll show all sites. If you download a report for one site, that's what it'll show.

Edited to add: For each item in your report, it shows which Campaign ID, and the custom ID, associated with the user click. So it'll report for all sites, but they're differentiated, so you can tell which products were sold through which sites.
