Not sure but i dont think so and to my knowledge godaddy backorder get domains before they are dropped but i am not sure at all never used it before just bought for one yesterday and will see how it goes but if i can get that domain its definietly worth atleast $2000
OK just captured a great domain name via godaddy backordering system. It was my first time using it and i think it was great experience. So i can now say that godaddys backorder will work (most of the time) since it worked for me but who knows may be its just this time but anyway i got a good domain
you are one lucky man...i 'd been using godaddy but it never works for me, congart on that and what's that 2000 dollar domain?
May be it all depends on competition and i am sure there are lot of other guys like this around too. We are not the only smart asses Its a good domain
i am amazed how many money people spend on crap domain..... i found a few good name, too bad i green too much in the last 24 and can't give you some now...i will come back later
So what do you mean that i bought a crap domain Thanks If anyone get a good domain and get it registered(Secured) please share it with me so i can be happy to say i helped you get that even though i didnt
I still see some new threads like where to find expired domains... I thought this was enough to find expired domains. Are there any better tools if yes please do share and if you dont want to share i can always offer some $$$
Hey all, I was running a search on my latest creation... thanks for all of the comments and suggestions. I can certainly set this up to sort the list by the length of the domain name... I like that suggestion. I like the Yahoo/DMOZ listing idea, but with over 1/2 million domains and climbing, I doubt that I'll be able to add this efficiently. One thing I've heard here sounds similar to getting an email when new domains are added... perhaps new domains that match a particular keyword? As far as updates, http://www.findeteer.com is updated daily with anywhere between 20k and 50k domains (more or less)... it all depends on how many domains are becoming available. Keep the suggestions coming and I'll try to add what I can to it to make it better.
No it hasnt yet i dont know if it will later or not but i dont think it will. Here is an interesting article i found while googling if domain will lose its age with godaddy backorder http://www.mikeindustries.com/blog/archive/2005/03/how-to-snatch-an-expiring-domain
Jaree, try drophunt(dot)com . . . (apologize for the plug as it is my site) . . . its puts a search interface ontop of typical drop lists .. .lets you search by Alexa/PageRank, Backlinks etc . . . Make sure to double check all information though, since the ranks change constantly and they can be faked (sometimes) by sophisticated webmasters. I usually take backlinks as more important than pagerank cause they "lasts" longer if you put up a real website as soon as possible while Google (might) reset the pagerank when a domain changes hands (seen this happen a few times, but not consistantly)
