Hello there, I have found a way to find .edu forums on the internet which I m willing to share with u all guys. I don't know how many of u guys know this but for those who have problem in finding such do-follow high PR forums, this method may help. Ok then here I go... Simply to find the forum {in URL} type this in google -site: .edu inurl:forum Now if you are willing to find the .edu forum which is specialized in maths section then you can use this site: .edu inurl: forum intitle:maths To find that it is do-follow or no-follow you can downlaod the SEO add-on your mozilla firefox and can check it. This process could be a little bit time taking but trust me if you are able to find 5 of such forums in a day then your all hard work is worth it. I hope it may help you guys.
yes they do take it seriously, since most of the .edu forums have high PR so I doesn't think they can avoid backlinks from such forums. You are welcome buddy.
This is partially true. It's my understanding (at least here in the US where I'm located) that .gov links would give you the absolute MOST off-site seo value, closely followed buy .edu backlinks and of course there is also serious potential with .org backlinks as well. The reason for this is that the search engines see these as being websites that are government owned, educational or non-profit in most cases. With that in mind more "weight" is placed on those backlinks because they are not just posting the link to try to earn money or help a friend profit. by the use of the link that's been posted to the 3rd party website. Another seldomly used trick that is starting to catch on is the social networks, video sites, podcast sites and of course the tried and true article and press release websites that many have used in the past. ALL OF THESE OFFER HIGH PR LINKS BACK TO YOUR WEBSITE - MEGA BONUS However, what most people miss is that "content related" can be done so in a very loose manner. I have links all over the net on sites that are fan based for example musical groups, one that's a Dr. Phil website, another that's all about Martha Stuart and yet one more for the WE (womens network on cable) website. And all of these high page rank backlinks amoung many more of course are helping me stay on PAGE ONE of Google! Jeffrey S. WYrick
Thanx for sharing your ideas on such valuable topic, I hope it could really help those guys who have some confusion or problem about such worthy backlinks.
