Financial website - need your opinion

I tried to maintain a very professional look. What do you think ?

I think your theme is so subtle that when it displays two very coloured advertisements, I tend to see only the ads. The remaining site floats in the background.
I would introduce another colour - maybe for the social buttons, RSS and "Read more" buttons. You can also deliberately choose images that contain brighter colours.

I see what you've tried to achieve and it is indeed looking professional. I like it. It's just a few tweaks to make it more visible

 

I think the colour was choosed rightly. The website looks serious as it should be. I like it.

But I suggest you add a few Stock Market Widgets to make it more proffesional, you may easily find them in google.

Let me admit this first: Your website looks really really professional... For a financial site - it looks great.

I would suggest only a few minor tweaks.

1. Remove the banner at the top and place it right above the footer widget (I think that is the 728x90 - check it out - you might get more clicks and it won't disturb the overall look and seriousness of the site)

2. All the buttons for social media like RSS, Facebook, etc should retain their original colors because they are most identifiable that way. RSS button should be bright orange, Facebook should be blue, etc

3. If it were me, I would make the background of the content page (white) the same as the background color (blue with white gradient) . The content blocks itself should be white. This move should immediately enhance the visuals and bring the content to the fore making it the most striking feature of your website.

4. The footer has two colors - the widget and the band at the bottom are two different shades. I'd make it same as the header color - that will look uniform.

I think you have done a great job with the theme and the graphics, very professional. Some of the content is excellent and I will be bookmarking it to link a couple of articles on our forum, http://www.theproductforum.com. We have a financial forum category and this type of site is perfect. I will mention it and hope it gets you some traffic, nice job.

 

It's really nice. My opinion is that the calculators should go higher and be more visible.

Try to add more text ads and less image ads. At some of your visitors will feel overwhelmed by too much image information. Which distracts them both from your site and your ads.

 

I think it's very well put together and offers a lot of valuable information to the reader.
