However, I'm currently looking at the site and wondering whether the red header section looks too over-powering?

I'm tempted to move to a white header, but having played around with this, am concerned that the site may look too plain.

Looking for some constructive feedback.

 

It looks great. Very professional. I would leave it that way.

 

It looks fine as it is, it's not a very bright red so it wouldn't be bothersome.

Overall design is clean, and the page loads fast for me.

 

Very Professional, Simple and upto the mark site love it I dont think you should make any more changes (in looks)

 

I like the design It's very clean and professional. All of the content is very organized . My one suggestion would be.. to change your adsense ad links to maroon for better blending.

no need to move your header to white, you have already to much in pages.

Great looking site Brian and I agree with the preceding comments.

A slight problem I found viewing it on a 19" screen was that the box with the ad in it - upper right - widens to full screen while the rest of the content stays at 1024. (Observed in Firefox and IE7.)

 

Thanks for the heads up on that - just checked and you're quite right - will get that corrected.
