Of course some bad effect on the internet market.
But maybe the merchant of adwords will spend more to promote their business in their tough times.

Most of my websites are in joke niche, funny niche, so financial crysis is good for me, now all that big companys that talk about selling stuff and things are stoping to spend and are turning to sleep over this financial meltdown by having fun and reading jokes... (meaning, visiting my sites)cccccc

It really depends on how long this thing drags out. Companies with decent balance sheets should be able to ride this out for a while.

I don't know enough about Google's advertisers to know how badly Adsense is going to be hit.

I was smart when i chose my ad company a few months ago! UK Company, they took a hit too, but not as large as USA. I wish adsense accepted me. I feel like an outcast not getting chosen for adsense.....

Back on topic*** yes i would say that Google's stock have dropped rapidly and well, this would affect your payout.

What? Google's stock price has nothing to do with anything related to AdSense. If Google went to ZERO on Monday, but advertisers are still willing to pay $1.00 a click, then the publisher is still going to get their $.70 to $.90 share of the action.

Now, if the advertisers are having financial issues, then that will affect their budget.

Maybe not all, but lets say 25% of the investors in Adwords get affected and remove their campaign... That'll give a puch to our Adsense earnings...

Or maybe they will continue to invest in Adwords but lower the bids... then the clicks that paid us $0.20 will now pay $0.05.
Thats another way our income could get hurt.

I have seen drop in earnings in this month, this includes various factors including these 10 days have had their fair share of holidays, what ever maybe the reason this crises will have some form of impact on our earnings.

There are companies [ Specially Banks ] who are losing lot of money, and some making good fortune of the present situation. Only God knows what will happen.

My earnings are 30% lower. The crisis definitely has an impact on google adsense.
If not because there is a crisis, it is because business owners are worried and they don't know what will come next.
So, their spending is cut short.

My opinion is that The Crisis will effect the adsense earnings to some extent. Advertisers may be willing to pay lesser per click. So you will also have to pay lesser for your campaigns!
Worldwide number of internet users and the time people spend online is increasing day by day. So thats going to minimize the decrease in your adsense earnings.
