I am working on a blog about finances, but I want to be covered. How can one word a disclaimer so that it states that all of this is simply my opinion based upon my interpretation of the economic and financial conditions, and that I do not guarantee any results?

I need a legal wording that covers myself.

    Any advice?

    You said it right there...

Not saying someone isn't going to sue you, as in the great US you can be sued for anything and everything. Doesn't mean they would win, but it would put a dent in your pocket, at which point I would file a counter suit.

I was wanting a more professional way of wording it. As you said, in the USA we can be sued for complete BS nothing. It is a hassle and screws over the honest webmaster.

Actually, the way you worded it sounds quite professional.

"All content is merely the personal opinions of the staff of XXXXXXX. This is not to be interpreted as fact, but merely as the opinions which they are, based on our opinions of the current and projected economic situation. Results are not guaranteed, using these suggestions is at your own risk and by using them you agree to indemnify and hold harmless, for eternity (or your choice of word), the staff, owners, operators, hosts, webmasters, and anyone else affiliated with XXXXXXX."

Just off the top of my head really quick. You can modify it as you see fit. I'd advise making them sign up for the information, or some other way to verify identities, before they even see the content. Make your landing page the agreement and see if you can find a script that will log the IP's, and maybe store some information on it. (make sure you have something about that in your disclaimer as well)
