Paul65, I am thankful and grateful for the details you just revealed. But I am wondering how much of that income is dependant on high search engines rankings ? As we should all know by now, Google eagerly devalues any business that artificially manipulates it's rankings. Every 6 months a technique is devalued. When Google discovers this technique, it will devalue anything that looks like it including the article directories that encourage it. In the end it's better for all of us to spend time building businesses that people love, instead of businesses that Search Engines are ticked into love. Again, I don't know how much of your income is dependant on great Search results, some feedback on that would help us.
IMHO, anything that depends on free search engine traffic or tricking the search engines is a is ticking timebomb to disappointment. Yes, you will make money by tricking the search engines. But you will make even more money by creating a real business that does not depend on the search engines
Article marketing has brought me lots of organic search visitors and so i continue to use it still.........
BTW, I'm not discouraging article marketing. Just promoting the creation of a business that does not need a entity like Google to survive.
Hello, I just thought I would give an update on the original article example. The article is still ranked on Google after 2 years. It has lost its position for the original search in June of 2008 but still is still floating around for similar keyword searches. Now this is only one single article. Even if you had a few articles lasting a few months and then keep getting more articles out there. Its like anything else build and grow. Hello, Just a quick update on the original post here from back in June of 2007. The one article that I showed having as an example been ranked on google since July of 2006 is still on the first page of google for the below search 2 and 1/2 years later. It is pretty easy to do this. I have found many new ways to achieve the same long term results but much easier. Below is a screen shot of the search and the article. The article is still generating sales thats almost three years now from one article still making money. It just goes to show that Article Marketing can be very powerful. All of us know how much our gurus "of making million a day" have made out of their 'secrets'. In fact whatever they have made was from the book they have written about something which they never practiced. I am bewildered by the multifarious ways of duping the gullible on net.
