Hi, I just wanted to add my 2 cents here. I've been trying to do the same thing, but I got no results from it. Gogol is pissing me off by switching the front page of SERP from one site to another. I wrote an article about DayJobKiller and here is what I did: I originally posted my article to several article sites, but only one of them was really worth posting too - Ezine Articles. I put a signature on all those Articles a text link to my Digg submission story link and named it DayJobKiller Review. The Digg story was referring to a post on my new forum. I went around the block adding text links on other sites referring to the Digg link. Then, it was interesting to look at SERPs everyday... First, my Digg link was at the top. Then my forum link was at the top for a few days, then Digg was up there for a while. Then my Ezine Article went up there for a while. And now my Squidoo page is up there. I don't know what the hell Google is doing, but it keeps changing the results. How the hell do you get an article up there and make it stay there? For those that are wondering why I did it this way - I was trying to use authority sites for leverage to get high visibility. Anyway, I have not sold a single copy of DJK from it. I don't think it was worth all that hard work. And my article was viewed only 48 times so far. What did I do wrong here? Should've I just keep my article on Ezine? Article Marketing will always work. Because most of the stuff you see on SERP's are either blogs or articles Article's will always be the way for us small guys to make it to the top. Since article marketing is pretty much common knowledge, most people assume it doesn't work. Alot of people think since it's "free & everybody does it", then it's probably not effective? whY? because that was my mentality, I tried every other method of marketing except article marketing. but now? But i'm getting consistent clicks on my hop-links everyday, without doing a thing. & it's kinda strange. You actually start to take your traffic for granted :]
So it was you. I even quoted your article as an example on someone who had asked me how to rank well for niche products. My Answer was that instead of trying rank YOU BLOG POST/WEBPAGE for the keyword, it was easier make an ezine article rank, sinnce she had a pretty new blog. I found this after I saw your article ranking well when I was looking PC Satelite TV results. Have you been able to replicate it well. As for me, I have found it easier to rank my sites better by article submission.
I have one article still ranking quite well with a moderate negative comment. I don't beleive that a bad comment would hurt your page rank. Cheers, Paul
Buddy, article marketing when done correctly can bring you tons of traffic and sales. You need to pay attention to a few factors: 1. Unique and useful content is a must 2. Keyword density of 1-3% 3. Minimum content of 300 - 400 words Stay with this and submit to EzineArticles and you should see results soon.

TRSB, i actually hate it. I tell you why: 1) It's frikin' work to write a good article. 2) Approval takes forever (at ezinearticles)..1-2 weeks or longer til an article is live. 3) Depending on reviewer it can happen it gets rejected for stupid reasons. Really, i dont like it
