Finally Yahoo.com gets PR10

Hello,

I don't know when did this happen, but I've just noticed that Yahoo.com has a PR10 after it's been stuck at 9 for a long time. Well done Yahoo!

 

I don't think, that they care

 

I agree , yahoo can have their own page rank system and give themselves a 10 and google a 9, then later give google a 10. Google won't care either.

 

They shouldn't actually. They've always been #1 on Alexa and that's much more important than PR IMHO.
Anyway, it is still something to be one of those rare PR10 sites.

 

It is nice to hear the Yahoo got PR10 and they have been #1 on Alexa. Just like Google, Yahoo is the best search engine.

Google PR is still important?

 

I just realize it today, my firefox got google pagerank and when I go to yahoo homepage, the pagerank gives full green indicator.

yahoo got PR10 about a few weeks back, am surprised that most of you were not knowing about it!!
but then it dose not matters, yahoo is a huge company and it dose not care about google PR! though it's good to see

alexa is far more important since it is a relative indicator of traffic


besides, google's PR algorithm probably included a line like this:

IF(site.url == yahoo.com AND site.pr > 9)
{
site.pr = 9;
}

 

Congrats yahoo. You deserve it. Not that it matters to Yahoo.

 

and by the way Yahoo started it all and they were the Search Engine pioneer. no wonder ... and why is it that they ranked 10 just right now.
