I want to make this short and sweet. After running AdWords for 4 years I finally terminated my account. My ads run in the Philippines and I have a free website. My AdWords budget was $5 a day for a really long time, and that $5 use to result in a good 10 to 15 new members a day. Now that same budget, and about the same number of clicks, results in 2 a day if I am lucky. This latest down turn happened about 3 months ago and gets worse each month. My logs show a lot of very suspicious clicks and patterns, but to be honest the number of websites showing suspicious activity is so large I no longer have the time or energy to figure it out. It is not my job to protect my account against click fraud in the Philippines, that is Google's job. Since they seem unable or unwilling to do anything about it, no matter how many times I have emailed them, I am finished. Spitting me back a few pennies here and there when I complain is not addressing the problem. Instead you are just playing me for a fool. Anyone running ads in the Philippines should understand a lot of your budget is completely wasted. Cheers!
Yes click fraud is a huge issue with adwords, they need to address this somehow instead of sitting back screwing over loyal customers while there raking in money!
They only answer to those who spend more. One of my client has 500 USD daily budget. There was a problem with the credit card. After submitting support ticket we receive the reply after 8 hours. And my another customer have daily budget of 50 USD. He had a problem and submitted support ticket but never got the reply and at the end we have to move to new account.
