I've worked hard on our site and now we're up for being reviewed. We take all feedback ... Even if its negative Can't wait! Site is: http://www.hostcrate.com
Nice site I like the color scheme. Flash header works well and fast is always a bonus. Navigation is user friendly. The only downside for me was if i click more one the 3 main offers from homepage I would expect to see more of a breakdown first before seeing contact us. Top menu dedicated is spelt wrong you have deducated nice site good luck with it
Thank you so much for your review. We will correct the dedicated part and work on the breakdown of the plans Thanks again ^^ rep added
Got the skin from a friend and manually edited to our liking ... not sure where he got it from though.
Well, as I see it we all have 2 choices... 1. Pay someone to design a site for us - the quick, money consuming way to get a site that is one of a kind. The problem here is get what you want, if you don't know exactly how you want the site to look like. 2. Learn how to design the site yourself - takes a lot more time, but you will learn a lot on the way and be able to alter the site in the future - cost free - and also you will eventually get exactly what you want. I prefer the second choice, because that is what you want in the end anyways. You need to know your site backwards and forwards. My advice is that you use this template (if this template is what you like) and start learning on that in the background, change colors, pictures, fonts and more. Best of luck to you...
I like the site and share the opinions of kevster1 the only think i would say, is under meet the staff, Admin, Support, Sales - they should be clickable either the image or the text. The page could go to where the user would ultimately contact that staff member. The grey bold text in the middle is slightly off center. As for the text, and this is only my opinion im sure many others will both agree and disagree but i find the most user friendly font to be "verdana 12pt" and think that if you implemented this on your site it would look much nicer, i just feel that the text is on the small side of life. Apart from that i really like it
Nice site, but among many Host sites out there. Template is all over the net, but it will serve its purpose. The average customer wants to see a Pro Design Website, avoid spelling mistakes at all costs. If I spot a spelling mistake on any site I go elsewhere, and so do a lot of people. Overall I like the design and, more importantly, its functionality :>)
We have been doing the second choice you mentioned since we've started. We even got up the money to get the flash program thru a friend and now attempting to learn flash to the best of our ability. Thanks for the advice.
Husband can adjust that in the next little bit, good idea & thanks Thanks for your honest opinion. I'd like to add that after reviewing the site in your sig, kinda looks dull & enlarged.
Once we get the money for a "Pro Design Website", we'll go with that until then this is the best template that we have found that fits us due to the color scheme & layout. We aim high to avoid the grammar mistakes on our site which is why it takes a little bit of time before we publish it. Thanks for the review
