Yesterday, I thought I would try 100 USD on promoting a few Amazon products. Well, it paid off... kinda I shifted a 37" TV, a bunch of DVD's and some other stuff which resulted in commission payments of 38 GBP (around 72 USD). Even though I am still down a few pounds/dollars, I am well pleased that its finally happened. The campaign itself is now paused. Today I review and refine before re-starting it. Hopefully I can do better, for less...
I have only been registered with Amazon for a week. I am so happy that even though I lost a little, I have finally got my first sales.
I see where your going with this, but just to keep caution in mind remember that your still down on your funds, i know what your meaning, but its still currently got you in the red, use adwords or whatever your using wisely in a way that your not out of pocket. Remember that a sale with no profit is not really making sense if it stays that way for too long. Good luck to you.
You're dead right - thanks for the advice Today I will look at the Adwords campaign again in detail and see what can be done to promote my products in a more cost-efficient way. I anticipate that once the campaign is resumed (either later today or tomorrow) it will be on a greatly reduced budget, operating at set times (ie not a full 24 hours) during the day. If anything of note occurs (good or bad) I will report back. Cheers mate
Hi tsc I feel glad together with you I feel that also, at the first sale of myself It happened to me on June 2007. I still remember Even my first sale is so less than yours a lot, but i know the meaning is the same That's Yesh we can do, Yesh we can made it, Yep Finally item can be sold out by us. ^_^ At that time, you know what I got commission only 1.xx $ see!! less than you a lotttt But happy Now, 5-6 months past I gain a lot more than that So let say the first sale is the will power for incoming sale.. Congrtulation anyway cheerssss
Hi BonusOnline... Yep - this is how I see it. I now know that I must be doing something right. The encouragement factor here is not to be underestimated. Now whatever it is I am doing right, I must do it better.
They do, if you go with the Performance based payment plan. With the Classic plan, its a flat 4%, including electrical goods.
Ah I see, so that's the only advantage of the classic plan? Can I check if I will have made more with the classic rather than performance and change back if I want to, without an effect on the earnings in my account?
Well, I guess so. Dont forget that you can only have one payment plan option. If you wanna sell everything bar electrical items, the go with the Performance plan. And of course go with the Classic option if you want to concentrate on elec stuff. If you want to do a mixture of both, then look at what it is you are selling electrical-wise - ie, top end gear or low priced stuff. To answer your question you could go back and have a look at all the electrical kit you shifted under the performance plan. Note the commissions at 4% and re-do your totals. I am pretty sure too you can only change your plan once per month.
I just changed it to classic and then changed it back. If classic is 4% of revenue, that means I would have 50% of what I have currently earned under the performance fee plan. I hope I havn't messed anything up!
Just go with what is going to bring you the best commission. I dont think you have messed anything up. If you had of changed it and then tried to change it again after 01 Jan you wouldnt have been able to. (I think)
Yeh I think it's fine: "You have two referral fee options for December. Please review both of them and choose the one that will work best for you. You may select either structure at any time during the month. The deadline for making a selection is 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) on the last day of the month. At the end of the month, your most recent selection will be used to calculate your fees for the whole month. In addition, you will remain enrolled in that plan until you choose otherwise. Your Payment Plan for December: "Performance" Thanks for the info
