Well, finally the champion Roger Federer breaks the jinx and wins the one title which was eluding him....

He won the french open in style, beating soderling in straight sets, 6-1,7-6,6-4.....:)

And now we can say that, he is well and truly the greatest tennis player of all time.....:)

    Awesome victory ...!!

He must still be ruing the moment when he tried to hit a ball between his legs on the run backward in the Australian open semifinal against Marat Safin, that too at match point. If he had won that, he would have equaled Pete Sampras' s record long time back.

    Nevertheless, Great champion Roger is.

I hope he doesn't win Wimbledon. He's turning into the Man Ure of Tennis, its getting a bit boring now.

Federer was actually very relieved at the exit of Nadal very early. His exit probably gave him enough boost to see him through till the end.

I always believed Federer to be a machine until I saw him break down and since then, I am hoping he wins...every time he plays!
