It's been about 7 months since the launch of my first site and Ive finally landed on the first page of Google! I am absolutely stoked finally all the hard work will begin to payoff (hears hoping) I really wasnt sure what to expect with so many people experiencing poor rankings after the very recent Google algo changes. Hopefully this should inspire a few of those webmasters second guessing whether or not its worth putting in the hard work.
Thanks... From what I hear its anywhere between 6-9 months so you shouldnt have to wait too much longer.
Did this happen today??? One of our sites that we started in late Sept. is showing #38 for our main KW which has 549,000,000 results returned. We moved up 30 spots today!
Yep... well kind of. It was strange what I was noticing. I actually think my site was ranking well on google.com for at least a week or so now for US visitors as I was noticing alot more referrals from G. It wasnt until today that I can visually see the rankings on google.com based in Australia.
I launched my site in November by the way... so your recent site should definately be on its way to breaking out.
Mine has been slowly moving up over the past few months. 549,000,000 is a lot of competition. We now rank #38 and climbing.
I can't imagine competing for a term like that. Come to think of it, I cant think of a term with that many search results
