Sadly, the iPhone will never be beaten. It's already got to much of a 'crowd'.

As one of the Google heirachy mentioned about the deal - "Two turkeys do not make an Eagle". Ouch.

Note that Nokia's stock price fell 25% on the announcement and has not recovered. Microsoft's stock price also fell. Nokia also stated that MeeGo, their own OS, will have continued development and analysts believe Windows is only a gap filler till MeeGo is finished. Some doubt Nokia will heavily promote any such Windows phone and others even doubt any such phone will ever be produced.

I don't know how I missed this thread. The above I already talked about in another thread.

Nokia was just downgraded to a sell by RBS with a price target of $7.92. That's down 1/3 what its stock price was just over a week ago.

Obviously investors and institutions don't like the merger with Microsoft.

Hopefully it doesn't hurt... One thing I love Nokia's phones is that they last long once you charge it... Till today no companies wasn't able to beat iPhone.. However, this alliance between Nokia and Microsoft... I hope Microsoft doesn't make things garbage if both companies are planning on producing cell phones together ...
