Finally made the $10 mark in one day

Just a bit of a milestone for me in that I finally made the $10 mark.

Sat up last night with it sitting just short of $10 - got up this morning to find it got to nearly $12....

No doubt today will be very quiet but I am starting to look at the bigger picture and stop stressing about day-to-day variances. Next step is to try and get $10 consistently.

So far, most of my traffic has come from social networking (forums etc) - still working on SEO so hopefully I can grow the figures..

Site is very niche (geographical as well as subject) so there are a few forums that cover this topic..

Sorry to not give away my niche but the highest paying clicks are on part of the site that covers Finance for my niche...

I have 2 sites that have parallel content so they complement each other quite well..

Now to try and build on it..

 

Congratulations on your success. I remember when I first started all of this stuff. It took me about a year to earn my $10 as I learn't programming and designing first and then went into the marketing and earning side of things once I had built and designed my first site.

$9.77 was exactly what I got stuck on prior to going to bed - was nice to see I'd gone through $10 this morning.

Typically, now having a very slow day but that's all part of it...

I just look at my earnings for today, and I'm over 11$ and there is more than 11 hours left of the day.

Congrats buddy. Don't get too disconsolate if you now have many poorer days. Just keep working on content and attracting visitors and the money shall follow. The figure at the END of the month is the all important one, in my view.

The first time I broke the $10 mark was much like yours. Went to bed and it was around $7...woke up and it was $12. I was really happy, but I have to say it took me a while after that to do it constantly every day.

I say this is the hardest milestone to break...Congrats again !

can i ask, what's your website? would love to see how your placement is. the $10/day is my goal by may 1st...right now it's jumping...$2 one day, $4 another...
