Hey dct, great job mate. It's the first time I've come across your SelfMadeMinds site and I'm really impressed. Lots of great tips there... I'm in Nottingham frequently so I'll look out for you driving a big flash car Cheers, p.
CONGRATULATIONS ! (I do make between 6 and 8K for months and months and I can't achieve that $10K ... anyway you maybe gave me extra motivation ... to do more ... and so ... progress) Very good question Maybe, in some cases, affiliate programmes are better ($$$) than adsense
That is awesome. Do you remember what you did to reach your goal of $10 per day? Did you have a certain amount of comments per day or getting links per day or what specifics did you have? I have my posts all over the house of $5,000to help motivate me. I am reaching my posting at least once everyday minimum but I am trying to come up with more ideas.
Thanks again everybody for the congrats, this is the last thanks post I'll do in this thread but I'll still answer questions where I can. Great to hear from you again e10, I found if you keep doing enough stuff eventually you do something right. 2 years or so. I have ~20 sites but a high percentage of my Adsense income comes from one. I just worked on content and ensured I posted daily even when I really didn't feel like it. I also had a very frustrating full-time job at the time which was a great source of motivation. To the person who asked about links, my gadget site does get a lot of organic links. I never really did any link exchanges but did use the Co-op and Link Vault in the early days.
It was on there from the start but no where near as in your face as it is now. I waited until I was getting decentish (~5K uniques a day) traffic before really integrating it.
