Let's see. I have reached this point at DMOZ guidelines where it's clear Multi-Level-Marketing sites are "Sites Generally Not Included".

Then I went to DMOZ to find out how many MLM sites were listed. 84 entries reported by Google and five categories MLM related.

There is a lot of money around MLM companies. And all that money goes right to the top of the pyramid. MLM are even prohibited by legislation in certain countries like Spain.

'duh? You not very bright are you? Did you not notice the nature of the MLM sites that you allege should not be? Did you even look at those search results you linked to? The first one is an MLM forum - what is wrong with that? The second result is the DMOZ MLM description! - what is wrong with that? The third one is a category with lists of sites selling MLM email lists - what is wrong with that?

Yet again, you lie and have been caught out!! lol ... you really need to do something about the chip on your shoulder.

what's wrong ... let's read again our so loved guidelines in this case , if nothing wrong let me to say a thing , here is a site listed on the directory like '' folder'' I mean on form of '' domain dot com / foldername '' well this particular site it's listed with the folder name , and base domain it's pure affiliate type oto page , yes about an mlm product , funny it's the folder it's from a totally different niche and have nothing to do with the mlm business . now the question it's ... it's respected the guidelines on this case ? nothing wrong right ? also go back at this post of mine and check the links and what I replied to gworld post , nothing wrong right ? again nothing wrong since shalshdot.org it's well respected but take please once more a look at the page bookmarked here , still nothing wrong ?

please note : I don't have nothing wrong to say about MLM business , actually I consider also it's a way to do business .... what's wrong it's with the guidelines and how you guys the editorial staff respect them , THAT'S WRONG

It may be worth continuing read that page, rather than just stopping at the summary. If you scroll down the page there are several paragraphs describing what is and is not acceptable when it comes to MLM sites.

Specifically, it says "You may list the domain for the corporate site. However, you should not list independent representatives or distributor sites. For example, only the main corporate MLM-Example Company site should be listed in the category Business: Opportunities: Networking-MLM. MLM-Example Company representative sites should not be listed anywhere in the directory. You may come across a personal page that includes information on one's activity in an MLM program. If the thrust of the site is not to peddle products from an MLM program, then the site might be a candidate to list."

It is perfectly acceptable to list the main corporate site running the MLM programs. What don't get listed are the 'business' sites of the thousands of individual members of the programs.
