Got tips, I especially agree with trying to find less competitive keywords to go after. A lot of people make the mistake in the beginning of going for keywords that have so much competition there is little chance to crack the top 10 even for someone with experience. Start out with a decent long tail search, get it ranked, learn what works for you and go from there! Continually creating a series of small successes will keep you motivated!
