Finally finished my game website!

Im ranked on the newgrounds fan network, when people click it my rank rises, my current rank is 54 and the clicks reset every week.

 

Im not doing newgrounds links anymore, it was losing more traffic then it was worth..anyway I updated the site, I have 184 games now

 

Anyway, Im getting alot more hits lately, earlier today there was 28 users on at once.

 

Fixed alot of stuff with the layout , brightened links and fixed up the forums too.

 

I have trouble reading the blue links on the black background.

 

your site is nice, and user friendly. gamers can easily find what they want. You dont need any fancy lay outs or designs for this type of site. people in this genre like the black bg and such generally.

nobody likes your blue text, change it to be the same as your google ads links and you'll likely increase ctr due to blending.

Also add an image map to the banner at the top, if i see a game that looks cool i want to click it and play now.

 

Image maps are really rough to do I hear (still havent tried 1 yet), I can try and do a trick and make each a seperate image, but it might not blend correctly, thanks for the compliments though, I have trouble matching colors I used the same exact codes for the links as the google ads but it doesnt match still for some reason.

 

use dreamweaver, its a snap to do the image maps there.

The site gives a very crowded look but once the eyes get adjusted to the colors I found things ok

 

People are used to bright websites. Once you get used to it then it looks really cool.

The color scheme is pretty good. I had trouble at first adjusting to the print (my eyes are probably just tired). Other than that it looks great!

yesterday i went on there to play a game i played before and liked, anyhow id compress your banner if you havent done that yet.. its like 400 kb which by itself makes it longer then any page ive ever done (including the graphics and scripts).
