I just about got sick of how much ebay fee's are for products sold, not to mention paypal fee's on top of that. I am just going to work with my online store rather then ebay. They seriously make it impossible to sell products as low as possible because they take such a huge chunk of your profits. Any one else have to deal with this ?

I usually buy off ebay and have never sold off of them but I have considered opening up a store at ebay but reconsidered after seeing their fee's. It's ridiculous especially since they bought paypal, they make almost twice the amount of money from fee's now.

The only thing I've ever made any money on selling via Ebay was Apple macbook pros and imacs. I'd buy them and resell them for a few hundred dollars extra. Still, with the fees and things I'd be lucky to clear $150 a shot.

Geez...not to defend PayPal, but there fees are better than most merchant accounts and third party payment processors...in case you haven't noticed.

Monthly sales > Price per transaction
    $0.00 USD - $3,000.00 USD > 2.9% + $0.30 USD
    $3,000.01 USD - $10,000.00 USD > 2.5% + $0.30 USD
    $10,000.01 USD - $100,000.00 USD > 2.2% + $0.30 USD
    > $100,000.00 USD > 1.9% + $0.30 USD

Its not the paypal fees, its the listing fees, final value fees, picture fees, bold fees, store fees, and then the paypal fees that eat up 7%
