After months and months of reading DP and other forums and blogs and just doing tons of research, I finally think i'm ready to begin my IM journey.....my first plan is to make an electronics review blog thats dedicated to reviewing and comparing many types of electronic products(video games, tvs, blu-ray players, etc)....I plan to monetize the blog by using amazon associates, adsense, and also ebay affiliates as well.....As far as backlinks i'm going to write tons of articles about products that I review/compare and submit them to ezinearticles and other article directories as well as using web 2.0 sites like Squidoo or Hubpages....for promotion of the site i'm thinking about using mainly facebook and twitter as well as posting on other tech related blogs/sites. When I feel like the blog is starting to pick up momentum thats when i'll branch out and probably make sites dedicated to certain products....my main goal is to make an extra $100-500 a month just starting out. Wish me luck DP and of course any suggestions/tips are welcome

Make sure you choose something you are passionate about, update the site consistently and promote it with articles. Don't give up unless after 6 months it hasn't produced any sales for you, in which case look to move on. good luck!
Sounds like a good plan! Just remember that there may be off days when one feels down with the efforts not showing results. Don't let it bother you too much , stick to the plan and stay with a motivated community ( online ) who have been there , done it so that you can benefit from their mistakes and advice. And as mentioned before : Focus

You've got a great plan there, as long as you stick to it, you'll see results in the end, for the first few months it'll probably seem like not a lot is happening, but it'll pick up, you need to wait for search engines to index all of the links you've been building etc.
Nice and congrats on taking the first steps, promoting your site with the social networks will get you a nice concentrated source of traffic

Am also doing my research and learning, writing articles is a sure way to promote your self so as i have been advised, choose something you are passionate about, at least you will have something to write.
