    hi,
i am a student at SCAD working on his final project. a RWD web design. i was wondering if anyone has the time to look at the wireframe and take a survey, so i can move onto my alpha phase this week that would be great! i do realize that i have a few alignment problems to work out in the animation and the navigation is a bit ugly. those will problems will be addressed once i begin to style my RWD.

    thanks for your time!
    steve

The lack of 'design' isn't exactly promising -- the inconsistent layout from page to page is bad accessibility and bad design. Things just kind of seem slapped in their any old way and the massive text (admittedly I'm a LF/120dpi user) in serif fonts isn't exactly great either. Of course, declaring font-size in PX is the antithesis of accessibility, particularly if you do so on body.

That it's got that stupid malfing conditional comment crap around the HTML tag, and is built around the garbage known as HTML 5 and the bloated rubbish 'boilerplate' and 'grid' nonsense, and the jquery for nothing isn't helping matters either. Probably how you're ending up with 460k to in 13 files to deliver three content images and less than 2k of plaintext... 5 or six files coming in at half the total size or less... There are no headings, therein no document structure... no semantics, the menu is basically a run-on since there's no block level dividers, etc, etc...

Though it's everything I've come to expect from 'higher learning'... particularly places like SCAD -- one look at the inaccessible broken bloated train wreck they have the cojones to call a website and it only further emphasizes why I consider most 'degrees' to not be worth a sheet of bog roll.

No offense intended, I just figure it's better someone tell you this now as if this is your 'final' -- the real world is gonna be one harsh slap in the face.

    hi,
well—first off its just a framework! nothing more. no graphics! you completely misinterpreted my thread! i expect that from those who ride high and mighty with lack of direction. no offense—but, it gets way old! graphics will be implemented in the alpha stage. yes, i used the “bloated rubbish 'bolerplate' and 'grid' nonsense. only because i work in Flash and not HTML 5. however, for this assignment i wanted to comply with W3C standards and design + develop a responsive web design (RWD)! thus, giving art directors the opportunity to view the web site in multiple devices. so, i am not up to par on whatever it is going on in the ‘real world’ of web design! if that is what its called? i am not going to cry about and quit. it just means i just cracked a head open and i am one step above with an education! whatever, i have no face to slap—so...thanks for your time!
