Ok, it seems that everyday there are questions regarding ad blending techniques and what is best and what works better. So what indeed works best? Do blending the ads into your page really works the best? What color seem to work better for the Add Links? How about for the border and for the URL and URL Description? This is like a general question, see what everyone seems to say and what works better, that way we can get a final or a few final "working" techniques. Ed
I think ad blending is very important for more clicks. If you look at stevepavlina.com, his site is nice and clean with less than 5 images for each page. His ads are placed neatly and blends into his content. Doesn't really make the ads look like ads. This is a good strategy for sites with lots of content. Take a look at one of my site which is doing ok because of ad blending. http://earncash.50webs.com Notice the green panel on the left and uou will realize it looks a little deceiving as inexperienced surfers can't really distinguish ads from content. Another way to make ads stand out is to apply image borders around adsense. I applied this method recently and I'm currently measuring which one is performing the best.
Nice info stressbattle... Make sure to let us know your final results....I also think is a matter of experimenting like you are doing, keep changing position ans blend techniques weekly to see which works best.. Ed
Anyone checked google's stance on the last method you posted? I have a feeling that might not fly once they review the site. The rest is pretty sound advice though.
Hey stressbattle, I have a question. I checked http://earncash.50webs.com/ and saw that you have images without a line diving them from the ads, also, the images are related to what the ads are advertising; last time I knew, this was against TOS as you are required to have a vertical or horizontal line dividing the images from ads and the images dont have to be related to your content. Please correct me if I am wrong on this. Ed
I guess to be on the safe side, it's better not to place images next to adsense. As far as I believe, I'm ok as long as I place borders around the images. I've been applying this on my page for nearly a year and didn't really bother asking Adsense Team. I remember I did email them once but got no reply.. so... My suggestion is to not worry about the images. Try using blended background colors instead. It work better. As for the image borders so far there were no super results. Gotta let it run for a while more before I decide to remove them.
