G`day, I have a PHP Script that pulls Youtube Vids targetted to keywords input but after several requests from customers, I need some way to be able to filter out individual videos by Author name, more filtering options would be considered if suggested. So can anyone help out with this? If anyone thinks they can handle this easily, or can tell me more about how filtering can be implemented easily with code already "out there" ... please reply to the thread or PM me with details thanks. Christopher J.
G`day, yes, filter by specifying which Author to filter out. An example is, one of my customers bought the Photoshop Site in my sig and the Vid Site attached to that has, of course, Photoshop Vids but ... the customer doesn`t like the language in some of the Vids. The only way to filter these out will be by Author name .... being able to filter out the rude comments that seem to appear with way to much regularity would be a bonus to ... I "cut" the comments tag out of the script before I sell it as a site because of the foul language comments. Main thing at the moment is to be able to filter by Author name though. Thanks for replying to ... Christopher J.
G`day mate, thanks for replying again, I believe the answer to your question would be the Youtube g-data api ... I`m not up on the terms or even if this is what you mean by "system" ... if you want, you may download the free Lite Version of the software and quickly create a site to look at the output ... take you 5 minutes to create a site LITE You may view the description of the product here before downloading also ... VIDEO SITES I know it`s possible to filter as other scripts do it, can`t seem to find where to start searching though. I appreciate your help mate ... if looking at the output of the script gives you any indication of what needs to be done and you have an idea of a timeframe ... please let me know ... Christopher J.
