Hello guys, I've got a bit of a problem with a site. It is aimed at students but the google ads show ads for stag and hen nights. A student is never going to be interested in them!! lol I can't filter all of the urls though - there are too many. Is there a way that I can filter keywords - ie "hen night", "stag night" etc ? Cheers Notting
Don't worry - I have found the answer to my own question! Basically you can't... https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=18619&topic=154 stupid in my opinion Notting
can you tell us your URL? Is your ads are related to your content or not? If it is related to your content then you cannot.
What about with section targeting on the page? <!-- google_ad_section_start --> <!-- google_ad_section_end --> And beefing up content between those tags to non-hen/stag references?
hey, i thought i remembered something...check this out, does it help? from the google help section on "section targeting" You can also designate sections you'd like to have ignored by adding a (weight=ignore) to the starting tag: <!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) --> stag hen etc <<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
