    How do you mean domain dependency? If you mean dependency on sales strentgh will be limited, NO! if you have good .com generic or good keyword domains will not sell, NO. the newTLDs will make their own waves and cool down rather.

    The NewTLDs will have effect on companies names lthe likes highly profile domains, so that they must have to buy new extension to avoid scamers usage of their new extensions. That is it, but if one have opportunities to get some of the highly profile generic with the new extensions will mean lots of cash to make. Another issue is buying trademark domain among the new extension could be dangerous.
    I supposed.
