Without realising, I visited the area where they filmed where the wild things are when on vacation in Australia... eerie place! Anyone visited any other famous film locations?
Yes, I have one time visit on film location where was the upcoming movie set the movie name was "Wanted" ( His Bollywood blockbuster Hit ) and location was Bandra in Mumbai.
I mountain bike where they shot the yogi bear movie. Went and saw the location all set up during the filming but security wouldn't let you get too close.
I've been to Kualoa Ranch where a lot of movies were filmed (Jurassic Park, Windtalkers, Tears of the Sun), but I have only been present at a live filming when the New Hawaii Five-0 filmed in the condo I live in. The film crew had their equipment in our loading zone for a few hours for a scene that lasted a few seconds. Chin Ho (Daniel Dae Kim) receives a call from McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin), he gets on his motorcycle and drives away. I blinked my eyes when the episode aired on TV, and I missed the scene...lol.
Watched some of World War Z being filmed in Glasgow recently. Will be interesting to see the finished film.
I went here not long ago for the first time. They have tours year round and have restored everything to look as it did when the film was made. After the tour, Ian Petrella (who played Randy) was there to sign autographs. He does this every summer.
Cool, I remember going to Canada some years ago and there were loads of movies going on, apparently it is cheaper to film than U.S. cities?
Quite a number because I used to be in the film business and my son is a professional actor. Last movie set we were on: Transformers in Chicago and watched Shia LaBeouf take a few drags off a cigarette between takes. Last TV show, The Playboy Club, also in Chicago, where my son has a small part as does a friend of his as a Playboy bunny. I think it will be on next week. Next set we'll be on is Superman.
Tatooine - a small town in southern Tunisia, the administrative center of the governorate Tataouine. It is here that director George Lucas filmed some scenes of the famous stories "Star Wars"
I haven't visited any film locations yet but I am going to New Zealand soon so will definitely be visiting where Lord of the Rings was made. I love that film.
