Filling W8 form??

I am from india and currently dont have any tax id or anything like that. I have recently applied for azoogle and got approved now they want me to fill W8 form.

You dont have tax benifits ...so part II part III are not applicable to you...just leave those blank .

Capacity in which you are acting ( Example Manager of a company if not a company just write individual )

 

I can't post links right now. Do google search for "w8 form". The second link is pdf with instructions. It may help you.

eh i filled up the form.. and sending it today by registered mail...

How many days you guys think it will take to get my account approved now.

 

Indian Speed Post ?

My Mail never reached them lol ..try some courier service instead like DHL

 

I sent mine form Australia on the 23/3, Delivery time stated by the post was 3-5 Days.

My account was approved yesterday (4/4).

Dont be in a hurry

eh i sent it by speed post yesterday. DHL is charging 2000 RS. :O and Speed post does cost 450 Rs.

Bigc if your mail never reached the destination.. how you managed to get the account approved.. Fax'ed?

 

Yup had to fax it to my AM later.

Even i sent it by speed post ... hope atleast your mail will reach them

 

Good to send speed post, normal mail will never reach them. Tried it already.

But its a pity that they insist on giving docs thru mail, No email or fax

 

so how does that work for indians getting paid from a canadian company? do you pay taxes in india on this then? assuming wouldn't pay american taxes.. hmmm

 

well if your income reaches 125000 RS/Year which is close to 3000$/year you have to pay tax. The bank will ask you to show your tax id if you deposit a check of more than 25000RS or 600$.

 

Wow - Was that by express post? Supposedly that's supposed to take 3-7 business days. I sent mine on 7/4. Looks like I'll be waiting longer than I expected

And be it Azoogle or CJ, everybody requires a W8 to be filled and sent to them!

Atlast my mail reached at the destination... and my account is activated. now they want me to send W9 to recieve the payments. damnn!!!.
