I bought something 28 days ago. It had a 30 day guarantee. I dont' want it so want to return. The place is "inundated" with emails etc... So I can't get through to anyone just leave a message. I think I should just file a chargeback. If so what is the procedure?

    Thanks,

If its your credit card then call your bank. If you paid via PAYLAL then submit a dispute.

How did you pay for it? If it was a credit card, contact your card issuer and let them know. Let them know the dates you sent the company an email with no reply. The more information you have to give them, the better

I would say wait a few days. As long as you request the refund within the time period it isn't a big deal if it takes them a few days to get back to you.
