Fillezilla keeps logging off

    Hi,

    I'm getting really peed off with Fillezilla..... if I don't use it for a few minutes it logs me out (a bit like my online banking). Is there anyway to change the settings on Filezilla to stop this?

    Or if not any other free FTP client which lets me stay logged in untill I actually logout.

    I feel your pain, always annoys me too, not sure there is an option to turn it off, if there is I couldn't find it. It must be something to do with security.

    I agree with the comment above about the security feature, I use the free FTP by Coffeecup, and if idle it does the same thing.

    The time out factor is determined by the host not the ftp client.

    I have never seen one that was set for longer than 3 minutes of inactivity.

    I appreciate it is a security feature however it is a total ball ache.
