yes, some filipinos are stealing content, but not all filipino bloggers are stealing content, Respect that fact dude or go back to your Elementary teacher.

 

Wow so I make a thread only to have some people accuse me of racism? The people who were stealing my articles happen to be Filipinos, what we cant say that?

How is it racist? I dont even hate filipinos I have filipino american friends, and they were the ones who told me about this stuff when they went to the philippines how they blog for money using other peoples stuff.

@Vel you only need to apologize for generalizing Filipino bloggers... and that's it.

 

Making grave accusations to someone for doing something is a serious matter specially if the accuser doesn't show any evidence of the said crime. Let us be fair for a moment here, and kindly show/pm us the link of your site where the articles has been copied and the link of the site that copied your content.

Anybody could accuse anyone of doing something, but without any proof those accussations are just MERELY HEARSAY.

people are allowed to post in anonymity on here and seek help no one is forced to reveal anything this is an advice and help forum.

I never ACCUSED a specific blogger or dropped their name, if I show their names it would get me in more trouble, so why would I show their names?

I am asking people for help on how to report this to google and how to block them or take care of these type of blogger thieves. I will let google handle it if they see their is something wrong its up to them.

Why not file a DMCA complaint to their host and submit a similar DMCA to adsense or whatever ad-revenue program they're running?

Provide screenshots as well as the URL of the infringing material

Seems like a pretty simple problem with a simple solution.

I am a Filipino too, that's why I immediately saw this thread. Vel is the victim here. If he did not tell the "Filipino's" blogs, then I would have to say that he doesn't need to tell HIS blog.

The only problem with copyright issues, is that you have to prove that you have the article first. But that is NOT VEL'S PROBLEM.

His problem is how to stop people (oops don't get angry if you included in the people term) from stealing content. Just because he used the word Filipino loosely then it's a cause for concern for us Filipinos. He is not generalizing, he merely stated FACTS as HE SEES THEM.

If he said that Chinese people are violating human rights, then do we have to go into an uproar because he did not say SOME?? Come on people, just calm down and help him with his problem..

I was being attacked in here and being called a liar and even people trying to scare me into showing the blogs even though I did no wrong here.

I sent a PM to the moderator to close this thread or delete it so I can make a new one and reword the title differently, but I am no racist and do not hate filipinos, many of them have been very hospitable to me and I like them a lot.

I just have a problem with these dishonest filipino bloggers, even my filipino american friends dont like them either.

 

That's the problem mate, the title of your thread is a bit provoking. Anyways, what is done is done but how I wish you had chosen a different title. If what you said is true then you don't have to worry too much, google's spider is powerful enough to detect copied content. Soon enough these sites will be penalised or worst, they might be banned. Sorry I can't help much on legal matters.

 

I reply in a polite manner as you can see on my first post, but it seems you don't need any help from us by not revealing the offender site.

@Vel - blocking all IP ranges from Philippines will not help you. They might use proxies to bypass that, they might even use rss aggregators to scrape your articles.

I suggest you...
give us the url of this blogger via PM and we'll deal with him personally.
or just file a complaint in his/her hosting.

He may have been copying your articles to lower your rankings intentionally, then thats bh to you.

If you are using wordpress, change your setting to show only partial of your contents on your feeds.

Here is what you can do...

1. Using Whois, find out on what server the offending sites are hosted on.
2. If they are on US servers, or any other developed country, then its your lucky day.
3. File a DMCA takedown notice. All you have to do is fill a form and fax it to that webhost.
4. Your problems would be solved...
