    Hi,
    I'm trying to connect to my server via Filezilla and it's being extremely annoying. Basically, I'm putting in all the correct details and Filezilla is recognising that and connecting.

    Now, here's the problem.

    When I logged in to cPanel on my actual hosting package, I deleted all the files (on purpose), but now, when I'm on Filezilla, the old files are still showing, and the new files I'm uploading are showing on Filezilla but not in my File Manager in cPanel.

    BUT, when I go on the actual website, it shows all the same files as Filezilla, so (a) why haven't they deleted, and (b), why aren't they showing up in my cPanel?

    WTF is happening?!?!?!?! :(:confused::mad:

    Probably it was due to the cache.
    Don't use your cpanel file manager to add/remove files. Use the ftp manager.

    I'm not using my File Manager. I only checked there to see what was going on because the files weren't deleting properly via Filezilla, so I went into cPanel and deleted the files there instead, but that didn't change the fact that the files still showed in Filezilla.

    I'm trying again to delete them via Filezilla now.

    I repped you btw ;)

    Try using other ftp manager.
    Or perhaps try updating your filezilla version.

    Thanks for the rep btw. ;)

    I've had this happen a time or two.. I just looked at this post then decided to recreate how it happened to me and this is what I found.

    I found that if i am navigating around via cpanel uploading and deleting in the same folder that my filezilla client is also browsing around in. what you describe happens.

    Upon restarting my fpt client out however the problem fix's itself. But again it does not fix itself unless i totally reboot the software... I do also recall at one point in time having to refresh my wireless modem to fix this problem. However that instance was unrelated to this little bug.

    I hope this helps

    Seanzy, thanks for your help, but it still doesn't show up in File Manager. The files are definately there, but they just aren't showing up in File Manager, even though they're showing in Filezilla. I'm guessing it's a problem with my host as it's been being stupid for a while now :(
