If you and hundreds of others complaining about RU are on low connection, WHY do you try to earn money by posting ? This is not the right job for you, I think

My speeds are similar and yet I've managed to upload hundreds of gigs with little or no problem - many files I upload are (or where) 399Mb, and since fsn allowed 1Gb for free users I've been uploading even bigger files, again with no problems other than the delay in files getting to the file manager.
Yes it takes longer - of course it does, but it can be done easily.
Remember - when you get a file by internal ru you're not actually uploading anything, you're just making a copy of a file that has already been uploaded by someone else. You're not 'bypassing' your isp's speed restrictions at all, your just using someone else's speed/bandwidth instead (and without permission or even asking).

Really there's no reason to panic - just adjust the way you do things. Instead of copying anything and everything in sight, rip something that's not so common and upload it yourself the slow way - you might find that you get just as much traffic since the file will be downloaded from you alone (mostly), and the internal ru ban will keep it that way (mostly).

Lastly - fsn had to ban internal ru sooner or later or face a sticky end because of being banned on most good forums. Think about it - what good is internal ru if you can't post the links anywhere ? I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did !
The fact is that banning internal ru, far from being the end of filesonic, will be the thing that saves it (I hope, and assuming the upload issues get sorted quickly).

 

I agree,with you.Its not a problem to upload a big amount of data,just need to change the way,as you do it.
Please tell me forums,where is filesonic banned.I know only akiba forum,where filesonic got banned coz of spamers.

I'm not saying fsn is banned in lots of places, just that it would have been soon (there where 'rumblings' on more than a few boards). There are a few boards where fsn is not welcome, but then you could say that of most file hosts. Recently fsn (and others) where sent to the spammers section on XB (that hurt !). Hopefully now we will see a gradual change of attitude towards fsn on the boards - personally I feel cleaner already

 

close the door??? what thel hell are you talking about? and what about the other hosts man which really do not allow any internal kind of uploading? for example fileserve? it has a better alexa rank than filesonic... did you think before writing this???

guys, im using RU from megaupload to filesonic and it is blazing fast, and i dont know if this has to do with shutdown of internal RU, but this day already 5 sales, this situation makes me happy

 

I am on PPS plan , but i know on the Playsonic counter that i have all days about 1000 downloads,..............but drom yesterday to now the same number stay there !?!

This counter dont work more or i dont have downloads ?? cant be ,...........many ppl say download dont work or verry slow !

Some news about that ? sry for my bd engl :-(

Can someone tell me the option you have in folders? What does it mean?

Access Parent Folder?

 

If you mark the folder as public you can give a link to the folder rather than the files individually, so if there are 10 parts to a rar set you can give just one link which will open the folder with all the rar parts to download.
I think it also allows search engines to crawl the folder(s) - as far as I know if the folder is not marked as public it can't be crawled.

Access Parent Folder - not sure where you are seeing that, but I guess it does what it says

 

ah ok, Access Parent Folder is just a x under the Public folder. So if i have a big file and split into many small once i should make a folder to that and make it public so they can download each file.

I still do not know what Access Parent Folder

U say you're making more sales now that RU doesn't work, but i've uploaded normally files in the past week and i still can't make a single sale . Can anyone help me with that?

 

I hope that until the end of this week filesonic will implement the rewards system... Hish you said that you guys will release that in the first week or the second week at most of April... We are in the second week...
