Actually, never mind; I found the files. I don't know what you guys are talking about, but I clearly see 2 downloads, from the exact same IP address (in Greece). One is at 2011-04-11 21:17:50 and the other at 2011-04-11 22:21:30 (server time). Both received 10 points. Don't forget that downloads don't always appear instantly. Sometimes things take time to process.

PS: Stefane, if you weren't an old and trusted affiliate, I wouldn't even have spent my time doing this. I usually ignore those who think they can have fun throwing accusations around.

You propably got afraid with the whole amosphere here and now changed the settings of the software that FileSonic use to count all the downloads.

If you had done it from the beginning there would be no ALT12 to accuse you of anything, and you may be more trustworthy for anybody in the world. By the way if you repeat such little tricks in the future you will not become so famous in the future like rapidshare in the past. It's up to you for users to love you or hate you.

Its very easy to check whether a file host is cheating or not (especially when they say that they count dowloads from "all countries".

1. Split a file in two parts using winrar.
2. Host the first part on the file host of your choice/concern
3. Host the second one on m3g@pload or m3di@fire
4. Publish this content on just one forum with some good amnt of visitors.

Pretty soon (usually within a few hours) you will be able to figure out what's up. The longer the test the more you will learn.

My long term tests of different well known filehosts show that M3g@upload always counts at least twice or trice more DLs (and in case of some hosts - 10 times) even though they dont count some minor countries. The problem is that you just never know will they pay you or not in the final run because of the DMCA issue.
I am not going to disclose the real numbers... I just want to say that, based on my tests, Filesonic appears to be "comparably fairest among others". The degree of FS's fairness, as combined with their payment rates, is quite enough to start thinking abt becoming some serious PPD afiliate and make money.

Yeah..its definitely impossible to offer high rates and count all DLs. Any program that will try to honestly pay for each DL is destined to die very soon ( ...heroically ;-).

So, I repeat, I consider Filesonic to be the best ...of them all.

But...the recent events that unfolded around FS (including pending uploads, frozen download statistics, slower DL/UP speed...) puts everything under big question!

I still hope they wiil be back to normal operation soon.

Meanwhile ..just waiting for news from Hish.

some files are deletet from my manager and they are 100% not DMCA files.
i have upload some backups to my downloads and they also deletet, i dont share the links from the backup files.

I has the same issue but i got answer.

No, files were deleted because the server data was CORRUPTED! Data error. Corruption. Tech issues

So Relax and continue making money
