But you cannot remote to some filehosts. You can't remote to there

hish please remove/limit the internal remote uploading of FS. and do something about the size limit for free user download

we do not want FS to be banned everywhere. unless some thing is done, FS will slowly loose everything it gained

Hm, this sounds to me like Filesonic is about to completely disable internal remote upload! Finally! That would be a great move. If not, MaX is right, more and more boards and sites will ban FileSonic because of enormous spam caused by possibilty of internal remote upload.

Filesonic to filesonic remote upload disable now???

 

hope the remote upload will work soon...some of us depends on it...not working in weekend means a big hit for some of us...

 

i don't know.. filesonic is probably the unique service that allows this.. maybe for someone disabling this functions could be the best solution, but for someone else could be just a disease (also for filesonic because less mirrors = less links = less users/subscribers).
However.. if they disable the internal remote upload.. no problem! well.. i could take your filesonic links, transfer them via remote upload to fileserve for example (still usefull looking at the stats on alexa) and nothing is changed.. .. .. your files are mirrored once again.. no earnings for you and no earning for filesonic as now the links are hosted on a competitor's webspace..

Hy Hish.First of all if the internal remote upload is disable..in my opinion Filesonic will loose lots of uploaders because not everybody has an upload speed so great to upload a large number of files + much lesser filesonic links on warez forums and much lesser earnings for all of us...This is my opinion..Internal Remote Upload makes the filesonic a such great site to upload on it..sorry for my eventually writings errors...

 

I AM GOING TO upgrade premium to START SERIOUSLY FS TO FS remote upload.. Now I don't know what to do?? may be I have to buy fileserve premium to upload on filesonic.. now i need 2 premium filesonic & fileserve.. (

 

REMOTE FROM FILESONIC TO FILESONIC SHOULD NOT(NEVER) BE DISABLED OR LIMITED. Period.

Filesonic is currently the best, taking out this just because a couple boards or some uploaders dont like it will screw up a HUGE number of uploaders.

Think it twice or a dozen or hundred times before you dare disable it or limit it, many hosts ban other hosts for remote uploads, fileserve to filesonic does not work most times, as some users point, so that is NOT a solution, if you disable it just to please a select group you will piss off most and lose the momentum you currently have.

It will be harder to remote upload to filesonic now and many will have to look for other alternatives now it becomes harder to upload to filesonic via remote, because most of us dont live where we can have super lighting fast speeds to always upload via ftp.

Guess you will disable Filesonic to filesonic during the weekend just to "test the waters" and see the impact you will have, if not much you will consider disabling internal remote uploading, bad move filesonic.

 

@xcollection, go to advanced statistic - on the bottom of the page there is a table with the files u last made sales - 'Number of Downloads'. Click on some file in the table and u see

 

Hish plz tell us if the internal upload will be removed or its just a temporarly problem..plz give us an answer...
