1) Bitshare keeps files for 6 months, filefactory, rapidshare, megaupload keeps for 90 days.

2) Like one offered by enterupload.com, filefactory (but their 20% is too low) etc

3) Many people still report this, may be its real or unreal so not sure.

dkp, BITSHARE keeps 6 months, r u kidding they wipe terabytes per day ( I had uploaded them 2.5 tb and wiped in 1 day ), they are rubbish
filefactory ( they sucks, check their topics) , rapidshare( r u still using them they are ZERO, megaupload ( they are only for free fighters
they do not give money over 100 mb files. f

b) This options may be discussed and can add other options to make more people happy

c) ALL hosts have samne problem, if you are groving faster and more faster, server may have problems. How do you know other servers counting CORRECT.

They are relative values. I know fileserve, counter fails too many times ( check their topic), bitshare's counter sucks too, netload'c counter works well
cause they give (25$/10000 downloads = 2.5$/1000 downloads), if I were you, choose better options to share and move to PPS

 

Filesonic is currently the best hosting site which pays affiliates big money, for online backup purposes mirroring on other hosts will be helpful due to the 30 day limit.

 

Just need to buy a premium and the 30day limit problem is reslved.The premium is only 5$ for one month,so its worth

 

I think there is no counter problems, sometimes the updation of download statistic takes little more time to display latest statistics in our account, thats all. It happen with me couple of time when i was in PPD, for 15 min the total downloads was not incrementing but after 15 min 60 cents came in to my account all at once.

 

Hello. I have a serious problem. I can not log on filesonic.com. When you try to recover the password is displayed: "Sorry, there is no dry-mail in our database"

A friend of mine uses FS as a free user. However, several times lately when he goes to download a file he gets the message '1 download at a time' despite the fact that he doesn't have anything currently downloading and hasn't downloaded anything for a few hours. He was advised to clear cookies which he did and it worked for a while but then it happened a second and third time in the span of a week or two.

Constantly clearing cookies is a nuisance as you lose data for all sites you visit and he is not the only person I know of who has run into this problem. It does tend to be a bit of a turnoff for free users of FS and these are the people that new memberships/sales come from.

Do you have any suggestions for a more permanent fix or possibly some modification of the cookies used?

I searched this forum and checked several posts that mentioned cookies but they generally seem to refer to login problems. Has this problem arisen before?

Thanks to both of you for the info. So I guess all file hosts have this same issue then. If someone requests a refund from paypal then it's automatic and can't be helped. Does the buyer open a dispute or something and do they have to prove the service didn't work at all? I had no idea paypal does this unless the service does not work (product not received), and file host cannot resolve the problem. What a PIA for the host I'm sure.

A lot of it is what you can call 'consumer fraud' - i.e. customers lying to avoid paying. This is an unfortunate reality in most online businesses
