This only depends what is the most important, satifying free users or affiliate to made the more sales possible (which benefit to filesonic too) ?
As things are working pretty well for filesonic right now, I think there is no need to change at the moment.
1, 2 or 3 I dont mind as 99% of my sales came from small files (about 100mb) and I dont think size really matter (at least not to get regular sales), it all dpend on the content you upload and the place you upload it.

HISH, can you read PM, there is a problem with remote upload problem.

if free members can download, and nobody buy premium sales, filesonic loose most members has premium accounts.
And I do not belive, they will do this , nobody wants to loose their premium members.

I think to let user choose is probably the best option but a lot of user can take advantage on that and filesonic could be banned from forums..
I think that since you already do a move recently to advantage pay per sale (increasing the maximum size to 5 gb), now you have to do something to pay per download (increase minimum file size), so you keep alla balanced :)

I remember when on sharingmatrix the limit for free user was 300mb, when they change to 400 mb sm became more popular.
On most popular filehosts limit size is now more or obout 1gb. But this is just my opinion, Im not specialist :)

But this limit is ALREADY a limit for pay per download limit cause all other websites have bigger size... and pps have recently had an improving (5 gb files).. why we can't have improving?
and maybe smaller files make sell more premium account.. but also make filesonic more popular make sell premium accounts.. and increase file size make filesonic more popular (don't forgot that download files bigger than 400 mb as free user is still a lot hard... so you will still get part of ghe sells)
Let the user choose... so you can do whatever you want and i can do the same..

    I'm using IE8. (specifically version 8.0.7600.16385) Also running 64 bit windows 7.
When I attempt to ctrl-left click, or shift-left, only the file being clicked is selected.
If I select an individual file, the first one appears in the list.
When i select a second one. I then have to click somewhere randomly on the upload page for it to appear. I can then proceed to select another file and repeat the process. A bit tedious when uploading a lot of files.
And while it may have only been a temporary glitch, I tried uploading 25 files in one shot (total size would have been under 1 gig) and the uploader just froze. Would not start uploading. I tried again with two separate uploads of 11 and 14 files and it worked okay (although each file still had to be added separately). Is there a limit on the number of files that can be uploaded at once?

Re the promo payout, I actually sent in the request twice, once the day it first appeared (the 4th or 5th?) and again about 4 days later.
And having said that I just received a notice that payment had been sent to paypal so I guess it had been checked... Although just adding it to my existing balance would have been fine. I appreciate the service!

The server it goes on depends on a number of different factors, so it's completely normal to get files uploaded to different servers.
