yes, I had wanted it so much that I spend about 1 hour to cuztomize your default public folder view into the one I had on my mind, using firebug extension in firefox
and you realized it.. thanks!

 

I've another idea.. I wonder if rss subscriptions could be applied for a filesonic user's public files & folders.. not everyone has blog here.. so if a downloader likes someone's upload and if you would add rss subscriptions for uploader's profile I think both downloader, uploader and as a result you provider would benefit from this

I'll surely forward this to filesonic feedback team too but just wonder what others would think about this feature, if it could be possible..

 

Seems like a fair compromise - should help with the spamming plus it will probably generate a few extra premium sales, which can't be bad

True man this is gr8................................. but im a bit confused the whole remote upload is off for normal users or only for filesonic links??? can normal users ru from http??? or all sorts of ru is closed for normal users...

mmm not sure - it says 'Remote FTP & HTTP uploads' so I suppose that means all. Not too sure why ftp is included though as it's not really the same thing, I mean it's not a big 'spamming' tool if you see what I mean (afaik). Personally I use ftp to upload from my local machine, and ftp links converted to http links to ru from my own server. Still I'm sure there's a reason

 

If it means all then its good news for us because this remote upload from filesonic to filesonic is really bad... hope hish makes it clear soon...............

In long terms this lifetime isnt good for uploaders (at least not at this price)
I really think best is to keep the 1 month , 3 month, 6 month and 1 year.

Hope things would change like for the 1 day trial and that you will come back to the ancient premiums

 

May be your right... Thinking about long term its even bad for filesonic but i guess they have sort this out before starting this new subscription...

 

By the way is lifetime gonna stay or its experiment? Any Official news?

Yeah I can understand that this lifetime can be a good thing for both filesonic and uploaders,its the price for 3 years premium if Filesonic isnt going to last for long time (or going to follow the rapidshare model that everyone turned down now) we would maximize our earning before filesonic disappears.

3 year is short but that's already a very long time for a file host as there is more and more coming up and following filesonic's model, even if they stated they are here to last for long time and be the number one they cant assure they will still be at a good position as today.
But I really think they should then made a lifetime at 199$ and also bring back the 3 month premiums

 

Why has all my files been deleted and when i try to login to my account it says "Unexpected error during process Authentication: - No user found with such email."?!?! WTF!

Does no one monitor the "support" emails on filesonic? I'm getting a bunch of emails from my site asking what happen to my links and i can't give an explanation ><... where's Hish when you need him!
I also noticed no one ever goes on ICQ either
