I am not suggest to disable the whole function of RU.
Just suggest to make some limit of RU from FSon to FSon.

And you should look back this thread to see why we suggest FSon to do that.

The problem is not RU itself.
It is the way some people use it, RU files that have been posted few hours ago and repost it, they just spam with RU, ftp or other method.
In seirous forums, moderator have to ban hundred of users daily that keep reposting files and spam but in lot of forums they are tired by such practice so they just ban filesonic. There is some very high traffic forum which are less moderated and which are now becoming a spammer paradise, too many users just repost the same content every minutes, so it is becoming useless to stay in those forums serious afiiliates which try to post rare content just give up because it will be reposted hundred of times in the same forum 1 day after.

Again the problem is not Filesonic itself, they are just victims of their popularity and attract too many spammers, there isnt really something that they can do against this and that's why I really doubt that filesonic could last long like that because there is more and more spammers attracted by filesonic and more and more forums that ban filesonic because of that.
At one point, filesonic will sure have to decrease their payment rates and have the same payment rates like other filehost if they dont want to attract all spamers and get banned from everywhere, I just hope this moment wont comes quicky.

Look at a host like megaupload, the lowest paying rates I know for a hostfile but very appreciated by all forums board because of low paying rates there isnt spamer users and people like megaupload links.

I wouldn't be too concerned. evil_jin is merely parroting things he has heard elsewhere. There have been no significant bans recently due to spamming. I challenge him or any others making such claims to post the names of a couple of these "high traffic forums". Don't hold your breath waiting for that list, but if it comes you'll see there are other factors involved (for example, FSn sales were cutting into the sales of the forums principal filehost sponsor).

Furthermore, the cash whore issue is hardly unique to FileSonic. Such individuals can use a variety of hosts and moderators rarely deal with the issue by banning filehosts because of this.

 

One week = 7 days. You would not be able to change again until next Saturday.

 

It is not things I heard, all forum where I used to post in my country have banned filesonic and a few well known english forum banned filesonic too like akiba, forumophilia, or anothersite. And in some other forums there is discusion about wether they should ban filesonic or not.

Cash whore issue isnt unique to filesonic but there is less issue with other host and especially since filesonic is becoming more and more popular.
If you have other forum which can get you lot of sales and dont have spammers around then it is great for you , but in my case that's really annoying to see all my fav forum ban filesonic and having to search for other forum.

 

But one big forum planetsuzy only allow filesonic and few other file hosts but don't allow hotfile filesrve and other file hosts .If they close remote what i can do with upload speed 256kbs?Half uploaders have slow upload speed and what we can do?

 

Ah what a shitty explanation captcha and other shit. Whole planet use download managers and hack downloads .This is stilling and manipulating with people who earn money on hard way .I have today 2500 visits on my blog and i earn only fuckin 1,3$.On Hotfile i earn 10$ on fileserve 8$ with same content.WTF?????

 

You have no idea what is in rar files what you remoted FS2FS. This is the main reason. Low upload speed? You can invest in shell or other server.

 

I don't earn enough to pay servers.

 

At the beginning you always need to invest to make money later.

First, Forumophilia has NEVER allowed FileSonic and there is no reason to expect them to in the future. They are closely tied to Oron and only allow RS & MU as alternatives since they offer no competition to Oron.

I'll grant you Akiba, but the forum itself is a spammer's paradise and is not highly moderated. You'll also notice they have banned FileServe as well. The staff there has created their own mess, not FileSonic or FileServe.

All depends on where you look. HotFile, Oron and FileServe are used just as much depending on the forum. Unfortunately, the call to ban RU FSn-FSn will do little to alleviate this issue. The only effective way to eliminate the cash whores from FileSonic is to either eliminate PPD completely or lower the payout on PPD to levels well below other filehosts. Is that what you'd really like?

 

When you mirror, you are always going to have differences. FileSonic is not manipulating your stats, your downloaders are simply opting for the other filehosts.

 

PS allow hotfile and fileserve if im not wrong, and it works differently, one thread for one girl, and a lot of posting rules, basically spammers just cant upgrade their grade and so arent able to post in all sections, so it can prevent repost and again problem is not just about RU.

 

Try to post hotfile and fileserve and you can get permanently banhamer

 

actually i knew that some forums ban and don't allow filesonic links and in my ebook i've written how, so filesonic's affiliates still can make posts and earn lots of cash even if those forums disallow filesonic.
