are downloads going incredibly slow for anyone else? i just upgraded to premium and i'm getting slower speeds than a free user

 

over the last few days it seems that some files have gone really fast and some have gone really slow with really no reason seemingly. not sure what is going on either.

 

Something wrong today
I share same file with HF and FS.
HF have 30+ download adn FS only 1 download.

 

the some problem for me stats is also so slow i hope soon will be fine. with filesonic my real downloads per day was over 1000 but now only 250 per day.

There is one possible explanation: If you post on forums where most users use anti-captcha download manager modules, it could explain it. Google recently updated re-captcha to make it much more secure. In the past, we found people queuing dozens of downloads as free users on their download managers without having to enter captcha, thus inflating download counts. With the new update Google did, this is not possible. I guess some users will have download through legitimate methods now

 

It depends on a number of factors: your location/ISP, how busy the server you're hitting is, and whether that server is located in our US or European datacenter, amongst others.

 

If so why only download from filesonic decrease? I think Hotfile using the same method like filesonic.

Following issue is happen today for me, are Google updated re-captcha in today?
I share my file with HF line in one fourm only and share my FS line in 10-12 forum.
HF download 30+ and FS download only 1

I know Filesonic try very hard to low down the PPD earning but please do not done this by a dirty way.......

Anyway try fell more day to see what is going on, I hope all of this is just a misunderstand.

By the way, please ban RU from filesonic to filesonic, otherwise you will lost more and more serious uploader and get ban by more and more forum.

FileSonic is doing nothing in a "dirty way" to limit PPD earnings. While comparing the numbers of downloads between filehosts as you did with HF and FSn can be useful in some evaluations, it is too simplistic to accuse FSn of cheating based on such comparisons. There are a multitude of reasons to account for such differences: the quality of the files shared, availability from other uploaders, popularity of forums, dominate filehost on forum, etc.

I have seen this argument time and again this week, so I'm going to use your post makemoneyss to address everyone repeating this rubbish. I could care less whether FileSonic allows RU FSn-FSn. I do not use the tool. Debate whether this practice should continue and push FileSonic for a ban, I have no interest in the matter. But, for goodness sake, stop claiming FileSonic is being banned from forums for this reason. It is not true. No well moderated forum has taken such action and any credible forum wishing to prohibit spamming or cash whores goes after the posters, not the filehosts. As a moderator myself, I can attest that banning filehosts has little impact on limiting this activity. It's true that FileSonic has been banned from some larger forums recently, but that was due more to the fact that FileSonic sales were cutting into the sales of a competing filehost(s) which sponsored the forum.

 

The fact is downloaders hate filesonic. Filesonic is the best for affiliates but also the worst for downloaders, free users dl speed is quite slow, some cant accesss to the file, and also because of the high payout there is a lot of filesonic spammers , so people are tired of finding lot of repost again and again from filesonic users.
Few of my main forums already banned filesonic and the others are also thinking about banning filesonic.

If you post mirrors withother host you can be sure you will get about 10 times more dl from the mirrored host than the filesonic one, there is nothing wrong with stats, in some forums here filesonic is still allowed, people just ignore all filesonic post.
These golden days with filesonic wont last for long time, filesonic is great but because of that there is way too much spam especially on promo day, it is crazy.
Lot of remote upload from FS to FS or from other filehost, I understand that RU is important for a new host to have more link but now it is only slowly killing filesonic, this is useless if they get banned from every forum, where I live you wont be able to found any forum allowing filesonic anymore.

Now filesonic is quite successfull and I really think it needs to make some change to decrease the number of spams, I know it isnt their fault but if they let things going on I can bet 10000$ that they wont past the end of next year.

 

statistics are only half as fast almost always had more than $ 20 and is now barely $ 10

Yes it is possible, maybe your new uploads arent as popular as the older oneso less Dl. And everyday day there is more and more people puting filesonic poster in their ignore list, the porblem is on filesonic itself.
It is useless to come here and cry when you see your dl drops down, this is how things are going to be, we should just be glad to be still able to make some money with filesonic

Filesonic download page & file manager is bit froozy while trying to click/ access files etc, this is particular when the users computer have low amount of ram or slow processor, this might be one of the reasons why people avoid filesonic links.

 

As some people received the bonus payment 2 days ago, I was wondering if I had been forgotten or if it is just a matter of time?
