Upgrading to premium is only $5/month. That is a fairly cheap price to pay for unlimited storage which is never deleted.

Guys, we're pleased to announce that we've added another feature for our affiliates. Through the File Manager's toolbar, you can access a section called "Removed Files" which lists the files that have been removed from your account (in case you didn't receive an email).

    Thanks,
    FS-IT

This makes zero sense. Do you seriously expect us to break the law and ignore DMCA requests for our premium members?

Banjowood was talking about preserving files on the server and not deleting them willingly. DMCA has nothing to do with this.

If a file is reported, it will be deleted instantly. We don't ask questions, as this is the law.

Thanks this is really usefull :)

It's 5$/month , not 5$ for unlimited time storage, who those who earn only a a few dollars per month it's difficult to afford.
Filesonic could add some advantages for affiliates that sell a good amount of premium account, like a free month premium for selling 20 premium in the month.

So it's like the 30 days after last download ?

Good addition. Thank you. I appreciate the fact I can delete files as I decide to re-post or not. This is not a common ability.

The default setting for files is "public". Have you gone into your file manager and changed this setting to private after uploading your files? If not, you do realize FileSonic is submitting each link to search engines on your behalf, don't you? If you files are "public" they are easily available to any DMCA authority.

Okay, let me get this straight, the guy in your example is selling 20 premiums a month but only earning "a few dollars", right? Doesn't quite jibe, does it?

Not to sound like a pr!ck, but those only earning a few dollars a month don't have a great need for storage longer than 30 days.

I started using Filesonic a couple of weeks ago, and I have not yet received my webmoney payment that was supposed to be sent October, 22nd.

Is there a reason for that?

Tiny correction: we don't submit links to search engines. They're the ones who crawl :)

You say tomato, I say tomahto. lol

Joking aside, they may be doing the crawling but you're opening the door and allowing them in. This is not something every host permits and some may not be aware of the situation. They may be used to hosts which do not allow search engines to crawl through their network so they can offer the protection TLAKER is seeking.

Personally, I have no problem with FSn allowing this. I'm sharing files and earning a buck doing it. Let my files go forth and do some work. ;-)

Not the same guy, the one who earn a few dollars probably couldnt afford a premium account every month, he may have files that are downloaded some times every month and that can bring him few dollars every month if they are kept for more than 30 days.
It's the case for applications for example which wont generate lot of download per day but which have every month few hundreds download.

As for those who sell 20+ accounts of course they, we can easily spend 5$ for a premium but it would be an attractive way for filesonic to attract and increase PPS plan users with one month rewards for good sellers.

Did you make over $15? That's the minimum payout.

If you did, PM me your user_id and I will look into it.
