This would prove my point, wouldn't it? There is no benefit to having two accounts in this instance. All two accounts would accomplish would be an increase of time and effort on your part.

I hear ya, but if you had files which were generating you sales, even if primarily on one site, isn't it more likely that you would pick up enough intermittent sales on other sites to overcome the revenue you would generate PPD? And if not, wouldn't it be likely that those other sites weren't generating enough traffic to even justify the work you put in to pick up a few pennies PPD? Like you said, extra time and effort for no extra gain.

Yeah, I've PM'd them about this and they are going to attempt to sort it out although I don't think there's going to be an immediate fix.
Think it may be similar to the "7008" errors that were happening about 3 weeks ago - only guessing though.
Just so that you know you're not alone

About RU, after many tries, I discovered that with files smaller than 300mb it works quite fine: some of them get lost, while some others appear into file manager after some minutes

every weekend there's something not working... it happens weekly, they should write it on their website under the website's name:
The world's best file sharing site (daylight from monday to friday)
    or
The world's best file sharing site (5/7 12/24)

Same problem with RU here but I didn't see a pattern. I queued a good amount of files last night before bed and only about half migrated to the file manager after a "successful" completion. Had some 50mb files lost and had some 300mb files lost. It wasn't even files that were queued together or sequentially. Files seemed to get lost at random.

The good news is nobody has reported download issues to me since yesterday morning. Not having a reliable RU is certainly a bother, but I'd rather have problems directed toward me instead of my downloaders.

To the best of my knowledge, your files upgrade when you upgrade.

I'd hold back on that statement if I were you until a few UK/Eu users get on-line this evening....
Still can't download here although I've been PMing FS-IT and they are aware of the problem.
They are going to work on it but how long it will take???

Yeah it seems to have been going on for a while now. I actually only recently opened up this FS account and there have just been so many problems to the point where I may be going back to HF if this continues. If people can't download your files than I'll be missing out on money that I could be making with HF.

Point taken, but I did say nobody has notified me, not that nobody will notify me. It would be foolhardy to discount the possibility of problems based on weekends past when errors multiplied as Sunday wore on.

I'm sorry to hear of your issues, I wouldn't expect movement for another 24 hrs though when the shop opens Monday. That is not advice I like passing along, but Sunday problems have often not been solved until Mondays. What exactly are you seeing, crufty? Is it the same problems UK users had before with the Watch List?

I also noticed a problem with RU... after 100% successful, files take hours and hours to appear in file manager (more than 8 hours for some of them!!!)

I also noticed since about a week my PPD stats are decreased by half and today it's less than 10% of an usual day!!!
All my links are mirrored to fileserve and I didn't notice any change in my fileserve stats....

I'm not used to complain but I really think there is a problem somewhere... And anyway it's just impossible to spend so much time to upload!

Most PPD folk I have spoken with took a 50-70% hit to their stats when the new download module was implemented Monday. FileSonic reported this was due to the fact that download rules were not being enforced on free users prior to that point. For example, free users were downloading in parallel, skipping wait times, etc. Add to FileSonic's report that downloader managers were rendered non-functional due to the code changes and significant numbers of legit downloads were lost.

Stats did begin to rebound on Thursday as download managers updated their code. The only explanation I would have for your figures today is that users are opting to download from your FileServe mirror when given the choice due to bad experiences they've had in the past with FileSonic. You could test this by eliminating the FileServe mirror on a couple of your next posts and then keeping an eye on them to see if the numbers to FileSonic rebound.

    Hi banj0wood,

I read the issues with the stats already... And I can understand that... But waiting hours and hours for a file in the file manager is just too painful...
